I'm looking to put together a rather big matrix mixer. Earlier I've used the 1590F for a 7x7 variant, but I found this enclosure to be way too deep making it very impractical to carry around. For reference the 1590F is a square box with the same length/width as the longer side of a 1590D.

Are anyone aware of an alternative manufacturer of die-cast aluminum boxes with a similar size (but lower depth)? Mouser/Digikey comes up short.. and before anyone suggest it the 1590FF is not a shallower version of the 1590F ;)

Gainta's HQ033 is 262x182x55 mm, which is shallower by 10mm but very much longer.    http://www.gainta.com/en/select.html  They have others closer to your desired size, but they're plastic instead of aluminum.
