Our homegrown pots are primos and going to cost you are an arm and a leg...
And you'll notice no one from British Columbia is commenting or offering any tips.  It is the pot capital of Canada.

So now someone has to come up with a "Trailer Park Boys Drive" that has at least a dozen pots.

I suppose next you'll entertain us with thoughts on how the linear and analog growth rates differ, and how the anti-log pot is also nicknamed the "Benjamin Button Pot"?

here in the Netherlands, you can't grow more than 5 potentiometer plants at the same time, but our deep rooted potentiometer culture has created some of the finest super high value potentiometers, like over 50 GOhm.
i know California has higher resistive values, but it's not balanced with the other property's like internal capacitance and the resistance when the wiper bottoms or tops out, most Californian pots have up to 10% residual resistance and 1nF per kOhm parasitic capacitance and pots that are supposed to be linear are somewhere in between W and linear or W and log. yes the values are high, but the quality and balance is way off...

friendly reminder: all holes are positive and have negative weight, despite not being there.

Mouser's $8 shipping option is for Canada as well.

Right, but it's just the standard USPS delivery. DigiKey's $8 option is Fedex next day with customs/duties prepaid and taxes collected so that you can't get hit with anything at the border. That option is $20 from Mouser.

However, if you don't mind the border risk and the slow delivery, the Mouser $8 option saves you the sales tax.

Well our pots here in the Philippines are grown in a probably different variety than yours, as ours are (mostly) knurled. From what I remember there seem to be no other varieties here, if not very rare.

As for regulations, pricing and distribution, i don't recall any laws concerning pots, so I think hoarding should be ok. We can buy local pots for around 10-15 php each, which is around $0.1-0.15 in dollars, much cheaper to get pots here...

(Sorry for derailing this thread, @xdfo, if you wish for us to stop, we will.. :icon_biggrin:)
