True bypass loop pedal, switch pop
« on: February 03, 2021, 03:49:51 AM »
I built a passive true bypass loop pedal with this schematic, https://images.app.goo.gl/Z2Xr5VkLsKt2mB8c6

When I engage it I get a loud pop, so thinking I might need a pulldown resistor on any other mod? Grateful for help! The pedal it is used with does not pop...

You can try a 2M2 or so resistor between every individual jack Tip & Sleeve..
(although Send Tip is grounded when loop is out of order..)

P.S.
I see you're using 3PDT switch so it should be more convenient to implement below configuration:

millenium2-wise, I use it on [nearly] every build.
