Hi all,

I have a CE-1 that I've resurrected and it's working fine having replaced all electrolytic capacitors.

I'm probably being overly fussy but my one concern or gripe is that the modulation is a little bit binary sounding, only really noticeable when you let a note or chord ring out. Rather than being a nice smooth sine wave LFO it's a little more like a square wave. I actually felt this with the MXR analog chorus from new so it might just be a BBD thing but are there any likely culprits here that I should investigate? This is a very ignorant question but what actually determines the sweep of the modulation on the CE1?

Do you have an oscilloscope?

The schematic you posted shows waveforms at various locations. Do you see similar waveforms in your circuit ?
