I have some Ge transistors and last night I measure the leak and hfe using the R.G. Keen method:

TYPE           GERM           V1     LEAK mA    V2    hFE
PNP           2SB492-1           1,55     0,627   2,3   75
PNP           2SB492-2           1,2     0,485   1,9   70
PNP           2SB492-3           1,6     0,647   2,45   85
PNP           2SB457           0,93     0,376   1,34   41
NPN           AC127-1           2,06     0,833   3,4   134
NPN           AC127-2           1,45     0,587   2,51   106
NPN           AC127-3           1,33     0,538   2,23   90
NPN           NTE103A-1        1,72     0,696   2,42   70
NPN           NTE103A-2   1,59     0,643   3,16   157

Is there a posibility to build a Tone Bender MKI with tree of them?, I´m not a expert with TB but I have read some posts saying it´s good to use some leaky transistors.

My FF sounds amazing with leaky ones.. (Q1 SB405 / Q2 2SB492)
---------
I build a npn Rangemaster with a B100K instead 68k to set bias too, even I changed the normal A10K pot with A20K for output like some RM came out and WOW, recomended (better with a inout cap selector - 15n THE SOUND IS WOOOOW)
---------

Please let me know what you guys think about the transistors. That´s all I have and not way to get another Ge´s here in Venezuela.

Thank you

I think a Tonebender MKII or Supafuzz is required here! The 2SB492 set looks like a good fit.

Thank you, any advice about which transistor I can use for Q1 / Q2 / Q3?...

I´ll check the schematics..

Try a combination of all three.

Are you touching these with your fingers?

No, they are so sensitive. I´m letting the transistors a few minutes till the lecture is stable enough.

Ok...   ..let´s see what I get later.
