Is slower sampling doing the same thng as bit reduction?

i have the necessary tools on my computer, i can do some sine waves in to either sample and/or level reduction. ill keep the sample speed the same, while sweeping the input volume, and then sweep the input frequency while keeping the volume the same, to showcase the difference.

first is a clean plonk, then sample rate and then level depth reduced, then its the same effects with a sweep
