Hello guys. I'm asked to help doing the wiring job at a small church. We have a simple mixer, two active 300W speakers, one 50W speaker to face the keyboard player, keys, acoustic guitar and a bunch of mics. The problem there is to connect the keys to both mixer and the 50W speaker. I need to make an audio splitter I guess and I don't know which one. I've found some schematics on the web, but don't quite understand. If anybody could throw a schematic for that and provide some info about which one is better passive or active. Thank you guys in advance. All the input is appreciated.

It's a bit dependent really. What kind of output comes out of the piano?
What I've seen is that people use a DI box where they connect the Jack IN to the piano, XLR to the mixer and Jack OUT to the local monitor:

This works because the piano already gives line level, the ground is properly isolated, and the DI can be powered from the phantom power from the mixer :)
