Just built this one and have no delay what so ever. I just get a solid tone, no delay to it. I have checked for all the normal things and can not find what is wrong.
hopefully someone can see what I'm over looking. Thanks

I don't like PT2399 pin5 voltage. It should be closer to 2.5v. I suspect static charge lockup. Try discharging all the PT2399 pins into something conductive for 10 seconds or so - With no power on obviously!

with all respect due to antonis, put it back.

there are a few points of interest on the solder side.

the arrow points to what looks like a hairline fracture in the trace. you also need to show a lighteer touch with the scoring knife, there's some ugly looking damage in places. slivers of copper will bridge tracks just as nicely as solder blobs. and - the solder sucker - it produces great loads of dry solder crumbs, which drop from the chamber when the suck is done. there's loads of junk all on the board looks like sucker crumbs, it all needs to be cleaned away. and whatever that ugly spotty stuff on topside is, it also needs brushing away.

any lead positionings we can't see in your photos are for you to make sure of.

thanks for your honesty!. I have corrected all points. here are updated pics. still no delay

pin 15 voltage is way wrong. follow along the tracks from pin 15 and 16 and check those solders, there is a couple that still show unfilled joints. power off, pull the IC out, and measure the resistance between pins 15 and 16, and the R10//R11 junction and 15, 16.

oh oh oh and - we have not seen a shot of your offboard wiring, pots and jacks, which is often the/a problem.

well those resistance measures look right. what is the markings on that little blue cap?

I can't see anything amiss, you'd better try the audio probe again, see if any changes there.
