I also got to thinking that I really don't know what any dub stuff sounds like.

back of that guy's right hand - ska.

Sad Eyed Beatniks do a track Piper At The Gates Of Dub (and it's not very dubby) - Rich would only need to change an I for a Y and he'd be away.

My reply has nothing to do with the technical aspects of your question, it's towards the title of the thread.  I hope you were able to make Baldric and Lord Percy understand your cunning plan.   ;D
I also got to thinking that I really don't know what any dub stuff sounds like. Then a light bulb went off from my younger days....
"my daddy was a bankrobber, he never hurt nobody"   Does that count?

The Clash yep that counts any day of the week.

Cripes! Doing it with a voltage-controlled filter might be more complicated, but it's probably *cheaper* than that lot!

Doing it with active RC filters 12 times like Paul suggested might be a nice balance of cost vs complexity. You can increase the resistor values instead of needing massive caps.

I belong to a group on FB that talks about English language, etymology, grammar, spoonerisms etc

I think I will start calling them my "Punning Clan"

I have an AKAI MFC-42 filter that seems like it does all what the KTBK does plus a lot more.
It is a powered analogue filter rather than a passive one like the KTBK but that means it can be controlled externally via MIDI as well as manually.
It got me thinking if a FV-1 digital version could be built easily. Maybe Digital Larry would know if the FV-1 is capable of this.

Tune.

Thanks Stephen.
Looks like the performance was mostly on the bell setting and the bell knob (rh side) almost cranked then  sounds like he's cranking the sends to the echo and verb. Controlling the HPF filter to make a build through the track.
Where filters become your instrument . Simple but great.
Love the Melodica recording too.

'king kipper. Dub it up.

Cheers for making my day. After spending the day in hospital being prodded and poked and electrocuted I needed that.
