Quick food for thought question. Was working a PT2399 circuit, getting in excessive feed back to the point of growing oscillations (I think, you know, more and more and too much!!!).
I love the madness, the edge of madness, but was thinking to get the EF of the output, put a led/ldr with another resistor so the ldr goes to ground, between say pin 12 and the input, so too much madness opens the path to ground and lets off some of what would be repeated. Some tinkering to do...but could I just do it with a BJT instead? Any ideas on the differences between how they could bleed off the extra from the feedback path?

Getting ahead of myself of course, thought experiments, need to clean up the desk and get back to real experiments.
