Just a general question to those who nose. If I had something like the following image attached. Circuit of Potentiometer, 2 caps and 2 resistors hanging off the signal path unattached elsewhere. Would that redundant circuit hanging idle alter the signal at all? Thanks

Any physical object "hanging off" any circuit will bleed/leak some treble. But often insignificant. We often "cut out" a network just by disconnecting most of its arms and legs.

For it to affect the signal, it would have to have a current path.  Since you have disconnected everything else, there is no current path except via stray capacitance, which is not likely to be significant in this case.
