I dont get the schematic description of the DPDT section...There seems to be 4 poles or summink ?!?!  :? :? :? :?

I take it that the black dots are the middle pin in each side..........

Can anyone help decifer this with me?

Thanks Guys

Might be TWO dpdt switches?? (someone will tell me if I'm wrong!)

I see two DPDT switches too. You will build this effect? If yes, tell me how is the sound when you finish it.

Hello.

Refer to this picture

Two footswitches are attached in the end on either side.

OK....I see the 2 DPDTs now.....  I feel like such a dope.....

now for Question 2:  What does the top one do?
The bottom one seems to control bypassing(Although it is not true bypass :()

I have updated this diagram and will upload it ASAP....it'll have true bypass and an on/off LED.

Hmm.  Maybe the pedal is always engauged, (the signal is always passing through the output gain stage) the top switches in the Octave Signal, and the bottom one switches in a "clean" signal. So you could get:

Clean (bottom DPDT on)
Clean and Octave (both on)
Octave (Top switch on)
Nothing (both off)

I'm not sure if the "clean" through the box would have some desirable buffering effect.....

In this brazillian eletronic site, you will find a soundclip for this effect, in the number 5 zip file.

Thats the same scheme/sound from Stellans site...but cheers mate!!!!

I'm thinking I might change the circuit to have:

DPDT1 (top one):
Ia Octave and clean Ib LED + 4.7K resistor
IIa Octave only       IIb  NC

DPDT2 (bottom):
Ia Circuit Output               Ib LED and 4.7K resistor
IIa clean i/p (ie bypass) IIb after the 100K resistor(before OP stage) to gnd

What do you think?

Can I mix 2 signals(clean and octave) by simply joining the wires together in the circuit? :?:
