Lot of stereo 1/4"s in the bay

Hey Colin,

Go for it!  I'll take some of them.

Same guy also has some nice black knobs.

Best one though is the reverb tank "Manufactured by beautiful girls in Milton, Wis. under controlled atmospheric conditions"  Gotta love that one!

Find out who made them before you bother. I just had a bitter experience with a Chinese jack sold by Radio Shack.

Yes yes, this is true... but unless you really beat them up most of the time they'll survive OK.  Of course, some jacks just survive always.

In this case, the box never even made it out of my house. No rough treatment; I was handling it as a prototype, which is to say, more gently than a production unit.

I used to feel the same way about Radio Shack jacks, but I no longer do now. Can't have stuff going intermittent. It's worse than out and out failure, in my opinion. Harder to notice until you stomp on the thing for your big solo.
