Hey people,
does somebody know a good site with a nice on-line croos reference database for transistors? Or a cute program? My biggest problem is to match japanese (2Syxxxx) transistors type with european ones.
I know that many japanese transistors have no equivalent (and vice-versa), am I right?
And another question: I'm making a PCB of Maestro Ring Modulator (I'll post it too like Boss SG1 as soon as I'll be able to draw, build and test it) but I need a data sheet of a IC marked "1459: quad mult DIP".
I usually perform my searches on http://www.fairchildsemi.com and http://smartdata.usbid.com, unfortunately this time with no useful results...
If someone knows a site with data-sheet, please help me!
Any help is very appreciated!

pctures of the schem: http://www.diystompboxes.com/pedals/maestro/Maestro_RM-1A-1B_Ring_Modulator this one is a PDF. add PDF suffix if it doesn't work
http://www.geocities.com/j4_student/schematics.htm this one is a gif: look for maestro ring modulator.

Sure that multiplier isn't MC1495, not 1459?
And if it is, I have one for you!

yes, and people still make the 1496 (various prefixes) and you can get them cheap.. but, they aren't interchangable with the 1495, tragically.

Thanks people, it's the MC1495.
I've found datasheets and other stuff. Now I go and look for it. SG1495 is a equivalent replacement, but I don't know if it is still in production.
Also Analog Devices produces four quadrants multipliers like MC1495, I'll check if they are compatible with this one.

The Analog Devices multipliers aren't a direct replacement.
