Hi,

A question for anybody who has built the NeoVibe, especially if you live in Australia where some parts can difficult to source.

How critical is the 12V25mA rating of the bulb?  The closest thing I can find is 12V50mA, twice the current.  The transistor which drives this is rated at 100mA.

Can this transistor be biased to accomodate the extra current?

ps Craig V, I've been following your progress with great interest.  Keep at it, you'll get it going soon.

Rob.

50 ma should be fine I got mine from Dick Smith. Let me know if you get your Neovibe up and running. I tried building one but couldn't get it to work - although I know the bulb wasn't the problem :)
