Hi there,
After building geofex easyvibe I improved the range of the rate & depth 100K log pots with linear pots and a tapering resistor to simulate reverse taper. Works like a treat!
However after doing this I noticed inherent clicking in the background with effect on.
i noticed the clicking is louder using jrc4558D op amps and the gain louder than using TL062. I noticed the clicking is louder when i turn my guitar towards & closer the pedal. the circuit is housed in a aluminum enclosure.
John Hollis mentioned the 10uf across the comparator output is to prevent clicking noises, should I simply increase this value - what to, 20 uf?
