Wah sounds weak before DS. Output buffer maybe?

My bespeco wah sounds weak and flimsy before my Boss MT-2 Metalzone and I was wondering if maybe an ouput buffer could solve the problem... I'm not sure why, I read somewhere that buffering the output of a wah would help if it sounded weak...

you can't go wrong with a nice buffer.  i took the morley approach and used a tlo72 style opamp in front of my last wah upgrade.  so i had a input and output buffer.
