LPB question

Once again, may be a stupid question.

Can the LPB work to boost a microphone signal (voice, of course)? If yes, is the level of boost achieved will be the same to that of a guitar?

It will boost the signal, however the LPB is not the cleanest boost you could choose for this purpose.
 I've used a Mosfet Booster for this purpose, a Tube pre-amp being the choice of many a seasoned recorder dude.

Well,i've tryed this and the Lpb sounds very good to my surprice!
It gives better definition to vocals and the sound is a little compressed.
