Another Tale of the FF...Todays FF story starts with a schematic at AMZ
and yet another Fuzz Face,  which is quite the Fuzz Unit.
Of course I got to diddling with it and using the sockets for:
 Incap,,   Q1,,   ~22uf,,   Q2 ,,   outcap  [5]
 Trimmpot..10k Q2's collector
Then I decided to try something from a recent post, put in another transistor,  [the post thank you very much But I can't remember who posted it and you should have a look anyway]   in this case in the Q1 position [the post referred to getting lower gains].
The result IS: Pretty Impressive either way and definitely different with the 'dual'  transistor in Q1 [2n2222a and a 2n5088], also fo interest is that the reading at Q2's collector went from 4.76+v with the 2n2222a in Q1 and the NTE103 in Q2 to
 5.11v+ at Q2's collector with both 2n2222a/2n5088 in Q1 postition and NTE103 in Q2.
I haven't bothered adjusting the different bias [both readings are in the pocket IMO] to compare and contrast, but it sure sounds great!!!
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
