The super overdrive, is a similar circuit to WGTP's "Distron Thrust"
its a dual opamp OD with two drive controls, Drive A is three 1N4148's
and DriveB/Blend is a dual 500k pot with a pair of 1N4001's plus a "clean"
blend, to keep some pure guitar signal in the output.
It offers a sort of "plexi" tone and a nice bright Fender crunch, with lots
of combinations in between.
Everything from "Blues" to "Shred" is there - Thanks WGTP :D

"FF" is a twisted boutique Fuzz face/Easy face, with a bass cap switch, using NPN
OC140's
"smilies" indicate volume, pre gain and Fuzz  !!
Nice solid Raco boxes, with plenty of room to breath inside !

Cheers,

Marty.

Power went down and I'm not getting links/pics today, I don't know if these two conditions are related. :?

No, those were given to me, they are "industrial" versions and seem about
twice as thick as normal raco's, they are also around 4cm's high !!
I just primered them twice, painted twice with Hammerite ( gold ) and
enamel ( red ) then baked them for 45 mins at 250 deg's
I've chipped one, but i like these to look "rough"  :D
I've shopped around but can't find any this thick/large so far ..... ?
Another would be a good size for my "Shaka Tube" which is coming soon

Cheers,
Marty.

Looking really good Marty - you deserve medals for actually finishing stuff, mine rarely get beyond the veroboard stage!

Well I got sick of looking at my "shoe box" full of working circuits !!
I still have another 10-15 to go !!
Think I'd better stop building stuff now ..... after the "Shaka Tube" that is
......  :D

Marty You'll soon be able to open an effects bazaar with all the stuff You get through, I love observing all the things that You come up with along with many others here and can only marvel  at the options generously given by people like Yourself, I just wish I had more time to involve myself in all this stuff but alas that isn't the case but I still really enjoy the contributions made by Yourself and others alike. Great stuff !!!!!!!!

Marty, where did you get the Dymo labels from? I haven't seen those things for 25 years and often thought I'd like to stick a few on my builds.

Thanks, i wish that I could contribute a LOT more, I've learned so much
here in the last 18 months, incredible as it seems, I had not touched an
iron for 15 years before then !!!
For the last two weeks, I've been mostly "unemployed" !! so that helped
a bit !

Piper - The dymo labeller came from a small "old fashioned" stationary
shop, only got it about 3 years ago and just found some black/blue
replacement "reels" for it.
If you dig around, the are still made  :D
Most people seem to like that "look" .... odd isn't it ?

Good to see stuff getting boxed up! there is still  little of that 'traditional' dymotape around, grab it at garage sales if you see it, someone will want it. I'm suprised I don't see more of the 'modern' dymo stuff on FX:
