DS-1 nasty noise

Hey yall;
 I modded my DS-1 to Seeing Eye specs and beyond with much help from here.Thanks to all,but I was unhappy due to a harsh,static like top end .Tried all kinds of changes to get rid of it but nothing helped.Well tonite while my wife was at a party I got to crank up my rig and realized the static like sound was due to a faulty mini switch on my Tele.At low volume levels it was not noticeable as coming from the guitar.Now I can say that my pedal sounds great.I almost never get to really rock and forgot how different things respond at higher volume.Remember to push things to working volumes to hear the true colors.My favorite forum has proven itself again.Keep up the good work everyone.
