Yep, some of those are Hammond B size boxes.
A few are boxes I bought from http://www.hoffmanamps.com, I don't know the manufacturer, though. They don't have any markings indicating who the manufacturer is. I like them a little better than the Hammond boxes because theya are a little bit roomier inside.

I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

Hi,
Congratulation Paul, you've got a big and nice family

Yeah, I'm a fool for a distortion pedal... I know I can't possibly use them all in one sitting, but they are fun to build, none-the-less.

I think I'm going to build a Phase 45 next.

Hi,
Good idea .
The MXR Phase 90 with Tonepad Version B Layout with BF 244 is a good idea too.

lots of nice builds guys.  I'm upset to see none in electrical boxes, though (like mine).  HAHA.  Clean, though.  Very professional (unlike mine!)

Thanks! It's the dark t-shirt transfer stuff Charlie discovered.

To add to that subject, I recently had to strip a box covered in the stuff, and it sticks like a mother!

Hey 1wahfreak:

How did you get that angled metalic finish on your pedals? It looks great. I would love for my pedals to look like that.

Thanks for the kudos.....I used pieces of scotch of tape to form random size triangles. For each triangle made with the tape, I sanded the area between the pieces of tape in a different direction. After a few passes, the areas start to overlap. The light reflects differently depending on which way it was sanded.
I'm trying another test so bear with me if this doesn't work...

bobbletrox

did you just sand it by hand?  How long did that take?  I've got no patience

Hey Dan,

It looks like you used the T-shirt transfer paper to do the sides. Was that difficult? Any tips on how to do it?
