I'd like to build an easy Compressor/limiter, preferably with trannys no chips:-)

If possible with BC108s

Got it in one ben

I've got all sorts of trannys from old TVs radios, but they all have strange codes A series C series - so I'm keeping them for repair.

The only ones think are suitable are BC108s and there clone BC548s

I know the feeling You could count all your parts and bodge random bits together and see what comes out

Well, that sort of narrows it down to The Roland or Colorsound sustain units.  I hope you have an LDR handy.
