I got a great deal on 2 new Electro-harmonix pedals--the Lpb2ube and the Black Finger Compressor--new--but missing tubes=20.00 each!..One even came with the ac adapter--anyway to change out those ac adapter jacks w standard one i use for my other Diy effects? There proprietary..
anyway, its been a great day! Any ideas where to buy some 12ax7's?

I don't think NOS is necessary for pedals, but if you really want them go on Ebay and search for jan12ax7. You will find jan-phillips or jan-sylvania jan12ax7's pretty cheap. JAN is Joint-Army-Navy BTW. Just make sure they are new-NOS, and tested. Beware, some of the 5751's are also listed as jan12ax7's. They are lower gain (70) versions of the same tube. Use those only if you want to mellow the gain of an amp or effect that you find to be harsh. The JAN is a ruggedized version of the 12ax7 that still sounds good, perfect for stomp use.

Heck any music store will have them. I like the EH 12ax7LPS tubes - at the least the first ones I bought. I like them a lot.
