I noticed that the Alembic FB-2 and the Real McTube II were VERY similar...both based on the preamp section that a lot of Fender amps use.  I've drawn up a PCB for the main components of the FB-2, including the two inputs ( high impedance and low impedance).

I was wondering if the FB-2 could be powered by the same power supply that the Real McTube II uses, which would help simplify and uncomplicate things some since the PS for that one is pretty well spelled out as to exactly what needs to be used.

TIA!
Phillip

Yes it can .
The McTube power supply is more complicated, but well documented. I will caution you to be very careful, as both the AC and DC in that circuit can kill.
