Loop switching with T.C. G-major

I was just reading article about remote bypassing (R.G. Keen) and I thought could the same idea be used with G-major. It has two relays that you can use for channel switching with analog preamps. So, is it possible to build a loopbox, for example 2 loops and all bypass, that you can control with G-major?

Yes.
But how, I hear you ask?
I I think there's two possibilities:
1) the easy road. The switching ports themselves are a TB-loop. I don't believe this is the case on a GMaj though.
2) slightly harder: the switching ports are exactly the same as a dicrete footswitch, Fender-style (and all others) - an SPST switch. This is what I think a Gmaj has.
This will let you switch pedals, but it requires some additional electronics. The rough (and battery-devouring) way is to use the SPST to control a relay on the effect. Electronic (CMOS, FETs, etc)switching eats less but is more involved.
Your manual should have something in to explain how those switching ports function. When you know what they do, dive into various articles hanging around on the net on switching (GEO comes to mind) and warm up the iron.

It swiches channels for Fender (and all other) so I think that the ports are the same as a discrete footswitch.

Here's what I found from the manual.

Depending on the channel switching connection
on your preamp/combo either a “Y-Splitter
Cable” splitting a Stereo 1/4” jack to two mono
jacks (tip to tip and tip to ring), or a standard
“Stereo jack to Stereo jack-cable” must be
used.

• Relay 1 shorts the tip of the switching 1/4"
jack with the sleeve/GND, when set to On.
Off position means that the relay is open.
• Relay 2 shorts the ring of the switching 1/4"
jack with the sleeve/GND, when set to On.
Off position means that the relay is open.

I've been reading some articles and I think I'm on to something but we'll see if I can build anything.
