hey Aharon (b.t.w.: are you the "A.C." at ampage?):
I may have caused some reason for flaming here (unwillingly, though...),
but haven`t gotten any "wrong mails", that "McAfee" would have told me of, anyway...

Back in the day I was AC at Ampage ( Not A.C. but we are talking 4/5 years ago).
I also let everybody know that I changed to Aharon or A Colman on the old profile before Aron moved to this format.That's old news and should not cause flaming.
The people that count have known me for years and know who and what I'm all about.

Hi Aharon!  I`m sorry that sometimes my posts seem to lead to misunderstandings;
there where absolutely no intentions coupled to that first Q. ; it just by accident occurred that I just hopped over from the ampage-forum, and  my ever-nosey curiosity led me to completely un-neccessarily write that little sentence in the brackets; since I didn`t want to expose somebody`s last name, I rather used the abbreviation.


Just wanted to state, that me has not gotten virusmails from this forum yet, although some people here (not talking bout You, here),
not always share my opinions.

                No harm done or ofense taken.The problem we are having would not exist if instead of a computer screen we were all in a room having a brewsky.No matter how many emoticons we use there's more than 60% of communication that is lost for lack of eye contact ,body lanuage,voice inflection etc.
I have nothing but good shitza to say about all of the forum.There's always a troll here and there but that's not the forum.We are the forum,the regulars and if we have a little tiff,much like any family,we'll fix it and cary on.

So true.  Real interaction prevents a lot of simple misunderstandings.

It's easy to adopt a punk mentality with a keyboard, and thousands of miles between the people, then is to disagree about a point face to face.

These flame threads are disappointing, but in the big picture of life, not worth an ounce of stress. Just words on a computer.

That reminds me of kids (my age for heaven's sake!) here going online and having internet relationships... In the end it wither amounts to nothing, and they're annoyed or sad for a week, or they get a date and they both think "Jeez that guy/gal's ugly..."

Anyway yeah, all you see here are a omputer's interpretaion of 0s and 1s. You wouldn't get mad at 0s and 1s so why would you flame someone (or actually the 0s and 1s)...

Argh I'm not making sense today. I built an optical theremin-y thingy today, went from scratch to full-working unit in one day... I had to I'm leaving for England tomorrow :lol: Therefore my brain is tired and stuff :roll:

A program that I like to use to pre-view my emails is Pop Peeper.

With it, you can read a message without letting the sending know it, so they don't know you exist.

And  it HELPS to control the email viruses.

But you need an antivirus also.
