Don't know who didn't received the files yet, so if you didn't received them, e-mail me.

strum_my_sitar

Oh babby... Your speaking my language! I would LOVE a copy of the schem and PCB layout!! Awesome Here's my email

strum_my_sitar@hotmail.com

thanks so much, I love this community!

Primus

can some kind soul host this?

Jaicen_solo

I think there are 2 reasons nobody's hosting this project.
Firstly, nobody wants the hassle of people emailing them for suppord.
Secondly, nobody wants the hassle of EHX emailing them with threats.
Besides, there are hundreds of people with the layouts now, but not one has come back to show any results.
Read into that what you will.

Please do not send me the files. I'm far too busy with other stuff. I don't want to build it.

What's the level of building difficulty?

Advanced.  Finding all the parts may be fairly difficult for people in some parts of the world.

I never build a PCb letter size.

Depending on the ICs ,I guess I have access to most OTAs,

but am not sure which others would be difficult to buy.

The secret of building this amount of ciruitry is to build it a section at a time and make sure that it is working, or at least doing something. There are guides on the circuit as to what should be happening in the control cirutry when a string is plucked - like opamp outputs going high or low. The most difficult section I found was the VCF. I have only built the Mk 1 version by the way, and the VCF is very poorly drawn in my view. Also, forget the power supply when building, I found 2 PP3s sufficient for testing purposes.

Thanks, I emailed you with the e-mail address I found on your web page.

What size are the PCBs? I'm not sure of the scale from looking at the powerpoint file.

So what does the synth actually do? What does it sound like?
Has it been built, ie. is this layout tested?
Cheers
