preamp question

anyone heard of Bottlehead.com they have a preamp called Foreplay which has about 1 watt output..the tube circuit is 2 monoblock circuits and is a great preamp for a home stereo... i would like to mod the simple design an d make a small pedal tube amp around that circuit...any ideas.
