i bought a "broken" Dano Tuna Melt today for £5. it had a defective battery snap.

So now i have it, my first commercial pedal and it seems like a good trem to my ears too 8)

anyone have a schematic/mods?

I don't have the schem, but I did open up my cousin's Tuna Melt to replace the switching IC in his. I was pleasantly surprised to see the photocell/led in the little black (lightproof) case.
I've heard the Chicken Salad Vibrato actually uses four photocells too.

Now if only they'd beef up those cases.......

i have a tuna melt and it's really a great trem. i got a case with that cool clear plastic protective thing to guard the knobs, so mine stands up really well.

built the EA trem for the volume boost though.

tuna melt has a pretty big range of speeds and depths, plus, the chop is good.

I don't have one, but if it has a led/photocell gizmo, then a possible mod for it 9or any similar) would be a second flashing led added to it, so yo9u could have the two leds running at different frequencies. Might be cool, giving lfo intermodulation effects (eg if one was at 10Hz and the other at 12 Hz, say).
