Ok well im almost finshed with my boost and i was agonizing over y it wasnt working when i found out it was a bad switch! So now im almost done with tat and was wonderin what a good second build was.

Try this one, it's a simple overdrive with low parts count. The soundclips have bad quality, but the effect sounds very good. Just tweak a little the input caps values.

WOW! It WAS a bad switch!!!!!

Glad you sorted it out and you learned something too!

You could try a fuzz face type circuit.

Non distortion things are a little bit complicated. You can try the EA tremolo (runoffgroove.com) or the Green Ringer (generalguitargadgets.com). Check Tim Escobedo's site for cool effects too, but almost all are based in distortion.

What is the best tremelo pedal from generalguitargadgets.com???I would like one that sounds really good but is also very clear and not hard to build.
