Nice price, but $5.95 for shipping. I hate that when they profit-pad on the shipping.

Speaking of wah parts, Antique Electronics lowered their Fulltone wah pot to $15.26, not bad! They also lowered their Fasel Red and Fasel Yellow inductors down to $16.16, not bad again!

Yeah, that really sucks, but if you browse through the rest of their stuff you might find some other interesting stuff that makes up for the shipping.

Speaking of browsing, a Fulltone pot and Fasel inductor for under $32, would definately make up for the shipping. Antique Electronics are starting to carry more pedal stuff, including Alpha 24mm lin. and log pots.

Thank's for the info Arno,
yeah, I just strolled through that guy's stuff ands found enough thing's to make his 6 buck's shipping a heck of a deal, found some 117 V input transformer's that got 3 output's 9v and 2X15v. output for like 5 buck's each, gotta have some of those, they'll make real good power supply tranny's.

i bought my wah put for 10.50 plus 1.50 for shipping on ebay, dunno if the auction is still up

FWIW, years ago I got frustrated with the Dunlop hot potz (because they would get 'scritchy' and I couldn't spray cleaner in them due to them being sealed) and on a whim replaced my wah pot with a 100k audio taper pot that I bought for $1.29 at radio shack.  I think it's actually an Alpha 'made in Taiwan' pot.  I hot-glued the gear from my old pot to the new pots shaft and wah'd away!  I was surprised to find that the new pot was MUCH smoother and had a much better TAPER than the old pot for a quicker and more controllable 'wah'.

About a year ago on a whim I decided to "upgrade" my pot to a Fulltone.  I've read all the hype about how great the pots are and figured I was missing something.  Well, I was missing something...an inferior wah.  As soon as possible I'm putting the RS pot back in since in my opionion it's superior to all the 'botique' pots I've tried.  Oh...and it's CHEAP too!!

Dunlop pots have a "custom taper" from what i've heard. not exactly linear. i've been considering a 100k ratshack pot and a gear, but i can't seem to get it off my old pot, how did you do it? fulltone pots are very quacky and i don't like them at all. maybe you should try a 200k pot too, its slower and is the same value as the vintage ICAR taper pot used in old clydes

Antique Electronics has Dunlop gears if you want to roll your own pots.
They also have the Dunlop 470k wah pot they use in the JH Wah and vol. pedal. Of course, none of the pots will help if they aren't adjusted right.

Small Bear (www.smallbearelec.com) has rack and pinion gears for wahs at $1.75 each, and they don't charged ridiculous shipping and "handling".

Fret Wire

Rack & Pinion gear at Antique is $1.13, their Fasel inductors are $16.16. Shipping is reasonable. If your into amps, they probably have the best Jensen Reissue Speaker prices.
