How to wire LED w/ no switch?
« on: August 05, 2007, 01:15:36 AM »
I want to add an LED to my circuit that indicates when the circuit is on w/o having
to use a switch. Do I just wire it like in the pic and ignore the switch?
This may be a dumb question.

Thanks! I was thinking also of adding a toggle switch for an On/Off so I can keep the cable plugged into the input without wasting the battery.
Is that possible? I have a DPDT switch. Any help is much appreciated!!

Well at that point, I think it would just be easier to wire it with the 3PDT in it.

You need a glade plug-in, in on a footswitch.  Kick on the big muff, then hit the air freshener pedal.

You mean the footswitch? But will that enable me to keep the cord plugged in without using battery power?
Maybe I'm misunderstanding something. Let me ask this...
When using the 3dpt switch, if I have the pedal disengaged and in "bypass" mode, it' not using battery power?

The LED is not using battery power, but the circuit does.
