I know this is nothing to do with effects building and schematics, but I could not resist myself posting those links. More can be found with Google or something. In this forum you can sometimes read members telling their enormous difficulties with non-working projects and impossible-to-get parts and you know all that talk "I should get myself a life, instead of lurking around this site".  How many times have you said to yourself "I´m nuts collecting all those schematics".  But I believe seeing that there is some people out there who are certainly more "not normal" helps you keep it going.

I've never really given air guitar a go (liar!) but I've played plenty of gigs where the audience has been imaginary...

I have a co-worker that likes to play "air guitar".

I sure would like to do on my guitar what he does with his...

He always says that he is not sure to look normal. But anyway, it's not worst than always singing for ourself (sometimes, people thing I'm talking to someone they don't see, hidden behind the thing in front of me or else...), or using my left hand on my right arm to show chords to a friend

I am sure that if I practice enough air guitar, it will help me with my moves with a real one

Oh, and BTW, I really like the opening page of this site...

A bit OT too, but somewhat related to this forum

Unless the winner did "air stomping" and "air wahing", it's a crock.

They have air guitar groupies, roadies and gear techs. And high altitude training camps. I´m sure they rehearse when to push a pedal.

Sorry that I continue my stupid thread, but that was angry fuzz tone at Gilles´s link. What pedal is it?

I want a big ass wah like 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide in my air band.

"Ok all set" hahahaha

Air Guitar Hodrodding!

Want that infamous 'woman tone' from your air guitar? Start you journey be replacing the imaginary tone caps with imaginary .015uF caps.

Doesn't that sound better?  :?

There is a place in Rochester, NY (I think called House of Guitars) that has a world's worst guitar player contest. They even printed up post-cards with the winners.

My wood shop teacher in High School was a crazy Vietnam vet that made a plywood cut out of a guitar.   He even had an 8-Track player and used to put in Hendrix all the time and pretend to wail.  He even did the air joint toke.  The guy was INSANE.
Q: What do you get when you cross an owl with a bungee cord?

A: My Ass

Rob Strand

..and how do you get that splash sound at the end of your track,   well it's combination of beer and pizza.
