I have a vintage Hog's foot that I would like to retire and use a new clone of it on my board instead.  I have made a breadboard clone of it but I would rather have a more rugged/cleaner PCB version.  Does anyone know if there is an available and ready to purchase PCB somewhere?  It is a simple circuit but I only need one so purchasing all the transfer sheets and chemical to make one tiny little circuit would not be very cost effective.
Thanks,
Charles

What's wrong with perfboard?  The circuit is simple enough to wire point to point even.

Yeah but the PCB version is so much prettier!

Actually I do not trust my soldering ability.  The perf clone I built was a little quirky - I have much better luck going on PCB or modding.  I really think the PCB even super small like this is so much cleaner in design and so much more rugged.  I think the PCB for the hog's foot would be 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch.

This looks like the actual circuit in my hog's foot (pedal version).

WTF?  You're still going to have to solder with a PCB.  If anything, PCB is going to be even less reliable, since with perfboard, you can twist the ends of the components together and not solder them at all.

Whatever.  If I were you, I'd do it with perf and save myself the hassle of waiting for someone to make you a PCB.  And since $$$ is your prime concern, perf is cheap too.  Heck, you can just use a piece of cardboard and poke holes in it.

Efficiency is my major concern not $$$.  Additionally, I would prefer to gig with a pedal that is on PCB and not soldered together  on cardboard (or worse twisted together) .  I wouldn't be confident with a pedal point to point, on card board etc even if it was constructed by Keeley.  I know this is a simple circuit I just want something I can rely on.

I am sure that no one meant to upset you.
I believe that they were just implying that if you have any solder skills that
you have the ability to build it on perf and save youself some money.

If all you need is a pcb I am sure there are some people that would be glad
to make a pcb for you, for a fee of course.

If you get no other offers PM me and I may be able to make a PCBs for you.

With a circuit that simple, perf is easily as reliable as a PCB. Don't forget, in the boutique amp world, PCBs are considered a sign of weakness, with PTP being considered much more rugged and reliable. But whatever, if you are not comfortable gigging with it... lord knows some of my perf builds inspire less than total confidence

If money is no object, you can have ExpressPCB make you a set of 3 miniboards for $51. You can probably fit  between 2-4 Hog's Feet on the 2.5" X 3.8" miniboard depending on your layout. That would give you between 6 - 12 finished PCBs. You can mix and match whatever circuits you can fit on the 2.5" X 3.8: size. Something to consider, and you would have very high quality double-sided boards.

You are exactly right, I was being a stubborn A$$.

I am still in the early stages of the learning curve of DIY effects.
