This is my take on the Bazz Fuzz thing. I mentioned it a few times on the forum before and had some soundsamples up. I was asked for a schematic on another forum and I thought that why not post it here too...

So here is a schematic: http://www.hut.fi/~pjunno/temp/aggressor/aggressor.pdf

There is some blabla in finnish and english in there too...

The soundsamples (the same ones as before):

http://www.hut.fi/~pjunno/temp/aggressor/aggressor_cabsim.mp3
This is through my self built cabsim.

http://www.hut.fi/~pjunno/temp/aggressor/aggressor_kompshall.mp3
This is through my small LM386 based amp. The tone control used to change the tone few times is on the amp. The Aggressor does not have tone control.

Pictures of my unit (same ones as before): http://www.hut.fi/~pjunno/temp/aggressor/aggressor.jpg

wow, that little unit rocks! are you the same guy that built the electra dist. on ampage? it looks like the same enclosure.

Probably. I don't know anyone else who uses exactly same ones. I use them every now and then. It's kind of challenging to make something in that small space and it's feels good when it works. This one is purple. The electras where red and green (the different flavours of those pastilles are packaged in different colour boxes).

I also built a microphone with built in preamp in one of those. :)

Bit OT but here is a pic of the mic too: http://www.hut.fi/~pjunno/temp/friikkimikki.jpg

The mic capsule is on the end of the aluminium tube. It is fixed there with some heat shrink tubing. The mic capsule is from a nokia hands free unit that was broken (cable broken or something). The aluminium tube was from an old printer I think. :) Preamp is a bit modified muffer.

The sound is suprisingly good. It seems that the microphone capsule is not a limitting factor on the sound quality of cellular phones.

Cool. I like the sound of it. Could you record a little clip using artificial harmonics?

I can try when I have time... Which is probably not before next weekend. My guitar playing skills suck though, so I'll probably have hard time getting some good screams recorded.

No problem. I like to use HA a lot, and some effects are really junk when you try to do HA with them. Your effect sounds cool, and if it can sounds cool with HA, will be great.

Okay... Here is another soundsample: http://www.hut.fi/~pjunno/temp/aggressor/more_aggressor.mp3

I tried to play some artificial harmonics there... They seem to come through fine. Some of them sound pretty much like regular high notes though. There is lot of other stuff too as I got a bit of carried away.

My playing sucks as usual, but I hope that this helps at least you marcos.

The recording came out thinner than I meant... The effect creates a lot of treble and the speaker I used has quite strong treble too. Yes for extra variation I plugged the smaller amp that I used in one of the previous examples to a different speaker.

The amp is like this: http://www.hut.fi/~pjunno/temp/kompshall/kompshall1.jpg

The speaker is like this: http://www.hut.fi/~pjunno/temp/kompshall/kailotinprojekti.jpg

Cool!!! I will add it to my (very long) list.
