Used my ADA at a rehearsal today until the PP3s ran out. These were very old ones giving out only 7.2v each, but a tasty 14.4v together. I'll have to get sorted out with a mains adapter. Other than that it still sounded good.

Wow, thank you for all the information!  I'm going to get started on this in a week or so (we're in the middle of re-painting the ENTIRE house/buying realy furniture).

You'll certainly be hearing from me about my progress.
