Does anyone have a comprehensive recipe of the ts808 job that Keeley does?

Keeley used to offer this info on his site at one time. I know he's redesigned since then, and maybe those pages are no longer online. I'm pretty sure if you spent some time sifting thru the archives here you could piece it together. If you read the technology of the TS article at www.geofex.com , assorted articles about the TS at Jack Orman's www.muzique.com, and compare TS variants at JD Sleep's www.generalguitargadgets.com, you'll be armed for bear when it comes to the Tube Screamer.

This pretty much sums it up.  It's amazing what a google search can do!

Takes me a few test try's.
I have to stick a diode clipping rolloff cap in there, and test it through the big amp...basically any build that uses diode clippers.
I crank it up some, tune the knobs 'n such, generally in a TS, I go for either...
A large enough value cap there to eliminate x amount of hiss, and retain x amount of highs or.
Trim the highs just enough to take the zizz out of them.
I use a four input amp, for each capacitor interview I turn the bright  volume knob on the amp, the gain and tone and volume controls on the TS Type.
