How to post images or URL ?

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I could do this in the other format. Could someone help? These buttons don't seem to do anything but enter little text bits.

Just click on the button, for example, the Img button, then paste your URL after that.

OK, I got it.

You click the Img button ONCE, then paste in the URL, then click the Img button again.

It basically does this:


[ img ]http://audioforums.com/Homep1Row1xCol1.jpg[ /img ]

There are no spaces before and after img and /img in the real code.

Some other forums I have seen provide a place
for people to do some testing. For instance,  look for
"Junk Drawer" on this page:

I guess, what I am trying to say is that with the new forum
and its format, there are a lot more options for putting
some structure in place. I am not suggesting we go crazy with more structure. but  we could have different places for different
types of discussions instead of a one size fits all (one place for everything).
