Just finished Green Ringer

Hello, this is my first attempt at a DIY effect. The octave effect works, but is much quiter than when bypassed. Any suggestions as to what could cause this? The battery is brand new, but i did substitute the 2N3906 PNP transistor with a BC327... could this be causing the weakness?

That s quit "natural " for that effect,

but you can try to measure the middle transistor

so he has the least gain if your multimeter has that function.

If not swap it with all equivalent transistor you have but

stick a booster befor or after it.  that'll make an animal out of it.
