I am planning on giving this build (ZW-44) a try and I noticed that there are differences between the Layout [url] here [url]  and the schematic [url]http://server3.uploadit.org/files/Torchy-Wylde_Schematic.jpg[url] . Particularly in the schematic, there is an additional transistor and two resistors. What affect is there in removing them like the Layout? What exactly are the components for?

Thanks,
Scott

Can you specify exactly which components they are?  This will help in giving the proper answer without comparing the two again since you already did that.  :D

I believe that you are talking about the status LED arrangement. Don't need them if you are using a 3PDT switch. Torchys verolayout works 100% and it is really worth building. It took a permanent place in my board, replaced a MXR Dist+ clone.

THat's what I thought it was for, but wasn't sure. THanks, for clearing it up.
