Has anyone figured out how to get rid of the grid dots when they print out their trace?  I can't find that option anywhere.

I think ExpressPCB always prints the grid dots, no matter what. To get a printout without the grid dots, I think you need to do a screen capture and paste into another program, like MSPaint. Of course, then you'll need to resize the image if you're going to use it for a PnP transfer. So, pasting into Word or Powerpoint might be better. Then you'll be able to use the rulers as a guide to get it down to the right dimensions.

Unfortunatly that only works for the screen and not the printer. I don't think they can be turned off currently.

I couldn't stand the stock colors so this is what I use:

color=#000000 Background
color=#40FF00 Top  (64,255,0)
color=#0080FF Bottom  (0,128,255)
color=#008000 Corners Top  (0,128,0)
color=#0000A0 Botom Corners  (0,0,160)
color=#FFFFFF Silkscreen (255,255,255)
color=#FFFF00 Board Edges  (255,255,0)
color=#FF0000 Selected Items  (255,0,0)
color=#00FFFF highlighted netlist pads  (0,255,255)
color=#FF80FF grid (255,128,255)

No more eye strain. :)
