In the process of deciding which fuzz box to build i decided on building the Guild 2 knob foxeylady & bought all the hardware & components.  Then i noticed the 3 - knob Foxeylady, the schematic & PCB looks very similar to the EH-Muff Pi.  It does'nt say which Q's to use on the schematic, it does say any HI-Gain NPN transistor ("Q") will work, should i use 2N5088's ?  Can i use 2N5133's (NTE#161) like in the 2 Knob Foxey...
Any reply would be greatly appreciated...

I opted for High Gain / Low Noise transistors
 MPSA18, 2n5089, and NTE47 are HG/LN transistors.
I used MPSA18 and NTE47's, My BMP, which I use these days, is a low noise floor affair with them in it.

I used BC184C transistors in my 3 knob version and it is my main fuzz pedal. I know it is supposed to be big muff circuit but mine has a much darker sound than a big muff, very similar to my Snarling Dogs Black Dog but with more sustain. I used the circuit off the Fuzz Cental site.
This pedal sounds incredible especially when the sound is boosted by a rangemaster clone for solos!
