I found a schematic and layout for a Echo-o-matic using a reel-to reel machine plus this pedal on a site here

but it uses a MC33174 Quad Op amp, will about any quad replace it in case I cannot find the 33174? are the pinouts on any quad op amp the same??
thanks

The MC33079 is a good replacement, and I have been able to order them from Mouser and Digikey.

Just about any quad opamp has the same pin-out, so you're pretty safe substituting anything that is rated above the power supply voltage that is being used in the circuit.

You're pretty safe using the old TL074, TL084, or NE... equivalent.
