Im going to buy some more switchcraft jacks and ussually buy the mono and the stereo..but recently i have noticed i can use a mono on both sides without a connection for the battery ( i just use wall wart ect..) I assume since im doing it this way (with out the use for a batter leads) that i dont need a stereo jack. Is that correct?

Yes that's correct. You only need the stereo jack if you're using for turning the battery on and off.

Buy the Neutrik 229, 230 jacks.  They run around .89 and are excellent quality.

Neutrik = plastic
Switchcraft = metal
switchcraft only 40cents more.
U can use a stereo jack in place of mono.
just don't connect 2nd channel.
stereo allows more flexability,
since U can use as stereo *or* moro.

ummm...

neutric makes metal jacks too.  the 229/230 are unenclosed metal ones.  They're the same style as the switchcrafts.
