Hello
I just built B. Robinsons Cicada (inspired by Tim Escobeda's Rambler) and it has a nice almost clean octave effect ... it just seems a little low output. Strange since its built around a LM386.

I am wondering how one might add a simple recovery stage. Can someone direct me to a circuit I could sort of build on for more output. thanks all for a great forum. regards, Roger

You can add a 10uF cap between pins 1 and 8 (positive lead connected to pin 1) to increase the gain of the 386.
