Thanks for the link!  I installed and ran it.  It doesn't seem like a stompbox natural.  Resistors, capacitors, and transistors don't seem to be readily available.  There is a generic "voltage operator."  One might have to invest a bit to build up a library of the necessary components?

The idea is really appealing:  a breadboard designer with built-in simulation.

being a bloody noob myself on this kinda stuff, I thought it might be helpful for others too, to get started...

haha I got that a while ago...
the most frustrating part about it is my program works fine on that, but doesn't in real life :-\  :(
