see this link,
i put pictures of a fuzz-wah a friend of
mine gave to me. Cleaned it, some contact cleaner
and that's it, nice wah, but fuzz is hard for the ears

I am thinking of updating the wah to V847 circuit,
what do you guys think...

Gotta love those relics of the past! You may be able to tweak some cap values and stuff to get the fuzz more to your liking.

On the other hand, with that shell, you could put any number of circuits in there - a Colorsound wah, a Maestro Boomerang or a Clyde McCoy. You can get those reissue Fasel inductors all over the place now. I bet you could build a nice sounding wah!

Hmmm... If you used that at a gig, would you be Live With a Shin-Ei?

That looks like a carbon copy of my "Exciter" Surf, Siren, Hurricane, Wah pedal. I think mine is from 72.
