My Bass needs a stomp box!

Hello there
I want to make some kind of distortion for my bass, so i was wondering if any of you has some cool effect arround there.
I have seen BassBalls, but i want some more agressive .
A sound like Billy Sheehan's bass would be perfect

man, de ja vu!!! There was a thread about this just last week, have a search!

Given that I wouldn't brake if Billy Sheehan stepped onto the road in front of my speeding car (NB; my sig) I have no idea what his "sound" is, but chances are it's not just some magical pedal that makes him sound like he sounds.  :wink:
