I own a Vox volume pedal and was thinking of converting it to a wah.  Anyone know if this is feasible or worth doing?  I am assuming that vox is using the same enclosure for both pedals, just different paint schemes.

I dont see why it would be a problem. Of course you'd have to switch out the circuitboard and pot to whatever wah you'll be placing in there.

You might have to replace the pot in there with one more suitable for a wah. I think volume pedals use 500k pots. Im not really sure, but you would have to switch that with a 100k. You can get replacements anywhere.  But yes this is possible. A lot of people do this with broken pedals or cheapo pedals.

My vote is either to put in a Clyde McCoy circuit in it http://fuzzcentral.tripod.com/mccoy.html
or a Maestro Boomerang with a yellow Fasel inductor http://www.diyguitarist.com/PDF_Files/BoomerangPCB.pdf

These are the two best sounding inductor based wah circuits that I have heard. The Colorsound inductorless wah is a nice sounding one, too.

I wanted to put in a Clyde McCoy circuit in it, as I am in love with that version of the Vox wah.  I was just wondering if it would be a project worth my time.

Well, considering that it is deemed to be the best sounding Vox wah made, I would think it would be worthwhile. There was a guy on ebay selling the 0.22uF tropical fish caps not too long ago. I bought a few to mod my current wahs and for future projects.  8)
